A Few of Terri’s Favorites…

Terri’s book Something Special, illustrated by Doug Keith was a USA Book News – “Best Children’s Picture Book – Finalist”.

It’s an imaginative picture book that brings a smile to readers’ faces and a furrow to their brow as it challenge reader’s minds with a playful puzzle. It’s whimsically illustrated and enjoyable again and again, even after you’ve solved the sweet mystery.

 

 

 

 

 

Won’t Papa Be Surprised is a snapshot of a special day shared by father and daughter is perfectly captured by Terri Cohlene’s playful text and the warm, fanciful illustrations by Elizabeth Sayles.

Mikele loves ribbons, and today she sees them everywhere — in the sunshine, the flowers, even the streamers of a wind sock. The bright, sparkly images remind her of something special, a surprise she has for her papa on this not so ordinary day. But through breakfast, chores, and a tea party on the porch, Mikele never guesses that Papa has a surprise for her too!
